Iraq: Maliki does not have the courage to resign and form a majority government

Confirmed that the Iraqi List, said Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, which calls for the formation of a political majority government, does not have the courage to resign from the current prime minister to nominate new to form a majority government.
The MP said the Iraqi List, Ziad worldwide abolition in a press statement that the option of going to form a majority government policy is the director of the current political crisis, noting that there were external pressures to prevent formation of a majority government.
He added worldwide abolition: “Although owning Maliki enough votes to form a majority government, but does not have the courage to resign from the presidency of the current government, in order to put his name as a candidate to form a government political majority,” adding that put this option by state law and Maliki is just to gain time.
