Iraq announces the achievement of the highest rate of production of electric power

Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Electricity announced on Thursday that it managed yesterday, Wednesday, to achieve a production rate of (21145 megawatts), which is the highest production rate reached by the national electricity system.
The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that “it will not stand on the threshold of the current stage, but the future will witness the application of the ministry’s message and visions in developing the electricity industry in Iraq through the expansion of power lines and the rehabilitation of distribution networks.”
She pointed out, “to proceed with renewable energy projects and electrical interconnection, and to introduce the combined cycle of all our stations, according to extensive strategies to achieve economic and development returns.”
The statement also stressed that “the ministry is determined to complete its path through its soldiers with all competencies in raising the level of production of the national system and protecting it from the hand of terrorism, and sacrificing all its resources and capabilities to achieve the welfare of the citizen.”
