On Monday, Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, threatened to target cables, data centers, and artificial intelligence facilities in the region if violent military confrontations erupt again, while describing the latest US response to the proposal to end the war as “insufficient.”

Rezaei said that Tehran is no longer responding to the United States at the moment, noting that Washington needs to clarify a number of issues related to the proposal to end the war.

He revealed that the United States had agreed to some of the seven Iranian conditions, while its position on other conditions remained unclear, stressing that the latest American response did not meet what Tehran considered necessary to end the war.

He added that any new military escalation could push Iran to expand its targeting to include the region’s digital infrastructure, including cables, data centers, artificial intelligence facilities and other sites.
