Informed parliamentary sources reported that the candidate of the Taqadum Party, headed by the dismissed Muhammad al-Halbousi, has offered bribes to every representative he nominates to be Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
The sources explained that the candidate for Taqadum Shaalan Al-Karim, who received 152 votes, offered a bribe in the form of a Tahoe to every representative who voted for him.
