Parliament Speaker Mohamed Halboussi on Saturday approved the request of the heads of the Kurdish blocs in the House of Representatives to re-form the Article 140 Committee of the Constitution on the disputed areas between Baghdad and Erbil.
The heads of the parliamentary blocs of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the Movement for Change, the Democratic Party, the Islamic Union, the Alliance for Democracy and Justice, the New Generation and the Islamic Group, in a document presented to Halabusi, that “the situation in the disputed areas between time to time alarming stages Cause security chaos is difficult to control and address, “calling for the restructuring of the Committee Article (140) of the Constitution to normalize the situation there.
The copy of the document obtained by (Baghdad today), the approval of the President of Parliament on the request, while referring to his first deputy and his face “to approach the rest of the political blocs to nominate their candidates for this committee.”
