The US Central Command announced on Sunday that the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln was not hit by Iranian missiles.
The command said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, ” The Iranian Revolutionary Guard claims that it struck the American aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln with ballistic missiles, and this is a lie.”
She added, ” The aircraft carrier Lincoln was not hit . The missiles that were fired did not come near it . The Lincoln continues to launch aircraft in support of the ongoing U.S. Central Command campaign to defend the American people by eliminating the threats posed by the Iranian regime.”
A new statement from the Revolutionary Guard a short while ago reads: “Following the boastful actions of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and their attacks on the targets of the Zionist American enemies, the American aircraft carrier (Abraham Lincoln) was attacked with four ballistic missiles .”
He added, “The powerful strikes launched by the Iranian armed forces against the exhausted military forces of the enemy have entered a new phase, and the land and sea will become increasingly graveyards for the terrorist aggressors.”
The United States and Israel launched a war on Iran on Saturday, targeting top Iranian leaders, starting with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, his advisor Ali Shamkhani, and military leaders such as the Minister of Defense and the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, through hundreds of missile strikes and suicide drone attacks .
