First comment on Tom Barrack assuming his duties as envoy to Iraq

The head of the Amargi Party, Qusay Mahbouba, commented today, Monday, on the appointment of US President’s envoy to Syria and Lebanon, Tom Barak, as envoy to Iraq as well.
Mahbouba said in a post on the “X” platform, which was followed by “Mail”, that “Tom Barrack is a politician, a businessman, an investor, and an educated intellectual”, indicating that “his presence as an American envoy to Iraq will be in the interest of the Iraqis .”
He added that “Trump is a man who thinks and creates ideas, negotiates and makes deals, and plans and builds strategies ,” explaining that “this is what Iraq needs to deal with America at this stage .”
Mahbouba continued, “The most important thing is that he believes that Iraq must be strong economically and politically… and the guarantor is a broad American alliance .”
