Financial issues are the most prominent… A call to scrutinize the decisions of the Sudanese government

On Sunday, former Deputy Minister of Finance, Masoud Haider, called on the Integrity Commission and judicial and regulatory bodies to audit all decisions and actions taken by former Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, particularly in the Ministry of Finance.
Haider said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency: “I call on the Prime Minister and the head of the judiciary to direct the Integrity Commission and the regulatory and judicial bodies to audit and review all books, decisions and procedures issued from the first day of the formation of the Sudanese government until the last day.”
He added that “the audit should include the Budget Department, the Accounting Department, the Administrative and Financial Department, the Legal Department, State Properties, and the Secret Office of the Minister.”
He continued, “Only a professional and transparent audit can reveal the facts and present the public with a complete picture of what happened within the Ministry of Finance, in the Sudanese government, where it was treated like a police ministry,” stressing, “Iraq is not built on exclusion and marginalization, but on genuine partnership, justice, the rule of law, and transparency. You will find out how hundreds of dollars were spent.”
