Baghdad (news) .. A member of the Finance Committee MP / National Alliance / Abdul-Hussein al-Yasiri, that Iraq did not enter in the membership of the WTO, because of the harsh conditions set by the organization.
Yasiri said (of the Agency news): The WTO and put tough conditions prevented Iraq from entering as a member, stating, that the conditions include the development of tax heavily on material goods and services imported by Iraq. He added there should be a tax system that fits the situation in Iraq in the organization, in which the taxes low on food, but in its current state does not serve the economic situation of Iraq . and between: that Iraq is an application belonging to the WTO, but not to approve the membership of the organization but to accept conditions that are harmful to the interests of the country.
