The independent member of the House of Representatives, Ali Turki, accused, on Monday, the Presidency of Parliament of lying and deception regarding the preparation of the representatives present at the inauguration session of the President of the Republic, indicating that the real number does not exceed 190, and some names were added for the reason to complete the quorum.

Turki said in a televised interview, which I followed, “The Presidency of Parliament added the names of entire blocs, and this is a fallacy that can be confirmed through the cameras,” noting that “the attendance will not exceed 190 deputies, which means Practicing lying and deception to complete the quorum.
He added that “the quorum is 220 deputies as a minimum, and this number cannot be exceeded, and the political forces should beware of the parliament’s presidency from passing its plans as it is affiliated with one and unified political party at the present time.”
Turki explained, “The fate of Wednesday’s session will be the same as the case with its predecessors, and the exclusionary thought prevails,” noting that “the Shiite framework is coherent and is the guarantor of the demands of the street, and that exclusion does not build a state.”
