Head of the National Nahj Parliamentary Bloc, Ahmed Al-Rubaie, described, on Monday, the Food Security Law as a new chapter of corruption, indicating that the real forms lie in the content of the law.
Al-Rubaie said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that “the food security law carries with it a danger and a great waste of public money,” noting that “there is an objection to the origin and legality of the law, given that the current caretaker government does not have the right to send projects to Parliament.”
Al-Rubaie expressed his surprise at “the caretaker government sending the Food Security Law, which carries with it a great danger as it represents a mini-budget and is a substitute for the general budget.”
Representative Hadi Al-Salami had previously recorded a major breach in the food security law that the House of Representatives intends to legislate, while noting that the Minister of Finance had reservations about some of its paragraphs. finished/25 h
