Coordination framework: No change to the list of prime ministerial candidates so far

On Wednesday, Uday Abdul-Hadi, a member of the Coordination Framework, confirmed that there have been no changes to the list of candidates for the position of Prime Minister.
Speaking to Al-Maalouma, Abdul-Hadi stated, “The list of candidates for the position of Prime Minister remains unchanged, limited to three names, and no alterations have been made to it so far.” He noted that “the Coordination Framework forces may hold an important meeting early next week to finalize this matter, especially after the completion of the vote on the Speaker and Deputy Speakers of Parliament within the specified timeframe.”
He added that “the next phase may witness, within the next 72 hours, the presentation of candidates for the position of President of the Republic,” indicating that “the largest bloc,” referring to the Coordination Framework forces, “will be required to present its candidate to form the cabinet.”
He pointed out that “the Coordination Framework forces may reach an agreement in the coming days that will lead to the selection of a candidate to form the government,” emphasizing that “it is impossible to confirm the candidate’s name prematurely before the anticipated meeting of the Coordination Framework forces.”
