Communications Minister promises to improve the Internet and to set a new price

(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Parliamentary Communications and Media Committee, headed by Naim Al-Aboudi, Chairman of the Committee, and the presence of its members, hosted today, Tuesday, Minister of Communications Arkan Shihab.
A statement of the Council of the Canine, a copy of which was received by the Al Furat News Agency, stated, “The hosting, which was attended by the General Director of the General Salam Company, the Assistant Director General of the Public Telecommunication Company, and the Assistant Director General of Correspondence, discussed the Ministry’s plan and measures taken to improve the Internet service, which will witness improvement in the coming months. After eliminating smuggling operations, in addition to the ministry’s intention to cancel the weaker subscriptions of Internet service subscribers and set a new price for it without the citizen charging additional sums.
For its part, the Parliamentary Communications and Media Committee, represented by all its members and its head, confirmed the communication and study of all files submitted by the Minister of Communications regarding the progress of the ministry’s work and the hoped-for reforms during the coming period in the telecommunications side to raise the level of this sector in the service of the citizen and the public interest.
