We know they are completely out of Chapter VII sanctions since December 2022, and so why not treat them as such? We know they want the Iraq funds (nearly USD 115+ billion) released from the NY banks and put in their custody to do what they want with it… We know they have plans for yet more Sovereign Funds to invest their reserves. Commercial traders fear central banks because of the amount of money they have to be able to throw at markets. When central banks have to be very very careful on how they say things because what they say will move markets. People can lose and make money. 11-18-2023 Newshound/Intel Guru Mnt Goat Wednesday intel call to my contact at the CBI: I was told there was a TV media output broadcast that told the citizens the official rate of the dinar would be over $1 in the coming days. They used the PM Al-Sudani in a speech like format to explain most of it…This is part of the education process. So, it did begin…I was told that the process of the revaluation is now in motion and they expect to begin issuing the newer lower denominations to the banks in exchange for the larger 3 zero notes…when they do distribute the lower denominations to the public for circulation, they will start at the airports first…they are only going to use dinars exclusively as of January 1st, 2024 in Iraq. But it is completed. I asked if Iraq needs an international rate of the dinar in order for full membership. I was told and I quote from my source – “Iraq needed a tradable international currency”. The digital connections have been activated to collect the tariffs and taxes from all border crossings Monday last week. Their stock mark showed a 3000 point drop in dinars this past Sunday. To me, the dollar to dinar value is adjusting to the actual reissued value of the dinar. 10 days or so, 12 countries did currency swaps with Iraq. Contracts that were previously agreed upon are being signed from countries coming into Iraq to do business. TOTAL being one of the largest and along with the infrastructure contracts. They need to get this de-dollarization process ended…Why not just make the dinar much more valuable than the dollar “officially” by raising the rate? …we can see the CBI wants to follow up on this outcome…we know they first have to create the demand for the IQD outside of Iraq…That is the hurdle the CBI is now working on.
