10-4-2014 Intel Guru TD My Kurdish friend indicates…FIRST…He says that any change in monetary policy will be voiced through the CBI, the country’s guardian and executioner of such actions and will be in the form of a worldwide article as well as update showing on their website. So far nothing like that has occurred. SECOND) He states that PARTIAL or INCOMPLETE actions showing privilege to some and not others would set off a worldwide & endless hornets nest of litigation that mankind has never seen in history. In other words, if and when the CBI acts on monetary policy it will be instantaneous worldwide. THIRD) He refutes the rumor that this has “already occurred” but hasn’t rolled out. If there was a few people”in the know” then surely in one way or another the remaining notes would have been gobbled up in a hurry. [DO U HAVE ANY KINDA TIMELINE FOR THE BUDGET?] I don’t – but reportedly – it will not be long…for me though, the budget is not the key – solving this conflict between the hags in power and the Parliament is. [What is the current status of the appointment of the Defense and Interior ministers? 10-1-2014 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Current situation: Budget: We are extremely close to seeing the budget passed, and in such a way that the Kurds will be happy with it. In fact, Salim Al-Jiburi (the Iraqi speaker) did meet with Yusuf Mohammed (speaker of the Kurdistan region’s parliament) just earlier today, and preliminary reports are showing that they are in agreement on how to move forward. In regards to the budget, it’s interesting to know that more than 20% of the Kurdish regions people are on Government payroll, and that actually accounts for over 70% of the public spending (the money that Baghdad sends to them)… so not only do they want to resolve this quickly, but these are the same government officials who will be pushing hard for an increase in the value because it literally goes right in their own pockets when it happens! 9-30-2014 Intel Guru Frank26 the budget is in the house and IMO, they still need to read it, and may take a couple of weeks to pass the budget, however we have seen oil tankers leave so perhaps they are already operating under the budget but it is not yet visible; perhaps in the next couple of weeks we will see more of the budget; there may be a domino effect set off by the budget; many items depend on what is it…it’s very possible that the budget does not contain the program rate, which would explain why it’s being guarded so closely. MR [Monetary Reform] is moving forward. IMO, we may see the seated GOI soon. 10/1 is “super hot, brilliant hot” for seeing the GOI emerge and possibly begin to reveal some of the budget through 10/10; if the budget is not revealed by 10/10, we look to 19th – 20th all of 2014; these dates are time frame studies to watch the GOI, budget, laws, MR. 9-26-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat …this week Iraq sessions once again did not get the needed votes to confirm the last of the few ministers. I am hearing this is once again on the agenda for next week along with the first of the readings on some new laws, treaties and reforms dealing with the economy and financial reform list. Remember also we were told 4 years ago there would be no RV without the Erbil reforms. This still holds true. Many of these past Erbil reforms are now part of the 27 reform list. 9-25-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday THEY…HAD A PRESS STATEMENT TO CITIZENS THAT BUDGET WILL BE DONE AND IS CONFIRMED. THEY DONT WANT THE 10,000 NOTE REPRINTED AND OUT AND ARE ASKING TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE NEW MONETARY POLICY NOW. THE REMOVAL OF THE THREE ZERO CURRENCY AND CHANGE IN RATE WOULD GIVE THEM BACK THE RESPECT IN THE REGION FOR THEIR MONETARY VALUE. THE TIME TO REMOVE THE THREE ZERO CURRENCY IS NOW DUE TO THE BALANCE WITHIN THE COUNTRY`S ECONOMICS AND STABILITY OF THE EXCHANGE RATE. THE RESPONSE FROM THE GOVERNOR OF CBI IS THAT HE NEEDS TO SUPPORT THE MOVE OF REFORMS IN THE COUNTRY. [So basically the parliament told the CBI to go ahead with the currency reforms and the CBI governor said he would stand by it?] YES THAT IS WHAT THE REPORT IS TELLING US AND I LOVE IT. 9-20-2014 Intel Guru SteveI I know you all are looking for updates regarding the budget, but the first thing I am looking for is the final two Ministers to be set in stone and voted on. Then look for the budget after that. I think October 6th is the next voting of the ministers… The rest will fall into place. If you are looking for a time, mid October is looking very good to have all of this done by. I really do not see it going into November as they (Parliament) is looking to start the 2015 budget, so this means getting the 2014 done, passed and opened and disbursed. This is when you will see a possible rate increase in the value of their currency.

9-19-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Parliamentary Finance declares its readiness to present the draft budget law for 2014 as soon as possible” The Finance Committee within Parliament has shown a “willingness” to get the 2014 draft budget pushed through Parliament as quickly as possible…again big news from the Parliament…”give it to us and we will get it done” they are saying…bold talk from this new Parliament…I’m liking what they are saying here….Parliament is also addressing changes to the Unified Retirement Law (9) for 2014 and will be implementing changes that will be for the good of Iraqi citizens…one MP…made a statement that the draft 2014 budget will reach Parliament on the 10th of October….but keep your eyes on this…I think it will be sooner…rather than later.
