Without a doubt, they both said that the United States and London are the 2 leading Bond Market Places in the World. In addition, Citigroup, Deutche Bank and JP Morgan are without a doubt the 3 leading underwriters of the World. Neither of these 2 Countries or 3 Banks are going to be blindsided by a Country such as Iraq. …the names listed representing Iraq on this trip are at the pinnacle of its own financial community. It’s been relatively the same for a very long time.] There is a couple different ways you have to look at it. You got out of the US dollar and into the Iraqi dinar. People don’t want to hear this…they want to hear when it’s going to revalue. But this is a game… If I was going to go into an investment and there was NOT going to be a huge revaluation in the currency, I would still look at the dinar. Because knowing the value of the US dollar has to go down…how much will the dinar go up? It’s a 27% return so far. You just beat the S & P 500. It’s pretty remarkable. Read more…

8-26-2015 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 PM Abadi stood up to an Iranian General today whose sole purpose was to make a deal for Maliki to keep him out of court and prison…Abadi would not budge on the issue… IMO…step one of Maliki’s demise…Abadi proved he will not knuckle under extreme stress…but Abadi won this round…is it over…no…but Abadi knows what needs to be done. He has the backing of the Iraqi religious authority, he has the backing of the people, he has the support of COM, and he has the support of President of the Republic Masum…the ball is in his court I believe…I can’t say why he won’t arrest Maliki…but I believe his time grows short…watch what happens over the next few days… In closing and summing this all up…PM Abadi spoke today with a strength that I don’t think had previously been exhibited…he’s taking actions through his reforms…and …there are more reforms coming…pay attention to what he does…he is a very smart man and will not be outplayed…IMO. 8-25-2015 Newshound Guru wmawhite [I just got an article…talking about dinar against other currencies and oil price: “Iraqi dinar compete Arab currencies in the exchange rate”] currently the IQD is not competing against anything… therefore, if this person is correct and the IQD is going to compete within the world currency markets, then its status must change first. Meaning, currencies compete based upon exchange rates… therefore, it must have an exchange rate with which other currencies will exchange with. [so does that mean maybe an rv soon?] There is NO maybes with the IQD…there is only WHEN the IQD starts moving within the world currencies markets. Personally, they (the CBI, GOI and ISX) have issued so many indicators that point to a change in the status of the IQD. Read more…

8-24-2015 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Maliki came back from Iran where he met with most of his most ardent Shia supporters (not all Shias support him – as before)…The Dawa party (and Maliki) “facially supports” these recent reforms called for by the Iraqi Clerics and the demonstrators (the people)…However, it’s a political tactic. He needs to look like “HE’S THE REFORMER”, or at least line himself up with the reforms. On the other hand Maliki is secretly attempting to subvert Abadi everything he does. It is worth noting – there are numerous OP ED’s out recently pointing out that if Maliki really wanted reforms he would have done so long ago. Maliki is in now in FULL DAMAGE control…He did not come back until he had some assurance of some kind – though no guarantee, he must feel he has some potential for survival. Read more…
