10-21-2015 Intel Guru Frank26 IMO – as we near closer to the new rate…Iraq is selling gold but not to the world …it is targeting someone very, very important. The CITIZENS! Gold is being sold by Dr. Shabibi to the citizens of Iraq which will bring in the last 3-zero and will introduce the lower denoms. This is also help Iraq with their reserves. The selling of GOLD will also pull USD’s off of the street! Dr. Shabibi knows exactly how many 3-zeros are out there (IMO). I have something else to tell you…Dr. Shabibi is the director of the CBI and he wanted to raise the value of the dinar back in July but he and Abadi agreed that the timing wasn’t right. Security wasn’t right. …we told you (IMO) that we wouldn’t see the RI until next year…and [Guru] Delta said the end of this year. The bad guys that once controlled the GOICBI are gone. …the investment law was delayed, postponed…if you want to believe that…that is your business. But, deep in my heart they are waiting in a top-drawer waiting to be released when Dr. Shabibi is at the helm of the CBI. You don’t need an Investment Law unless you are EXPECTING something to happen. Investment Law is for who? Investors who want to come into Iraq. YOU are in investor in Iraq – without going into Iraq. That is why this is so important. I believe that the Investment Law may bring forth the HCL. We must see the LAWS…the LOWER DENOMS…then Dr. SHABIBI. 10-19-2015 Newshound Guru mike If I had a dollar for every article that talked about monetary and economic reform that was “just around the corner”, I wouldn’t need the dinar to increase in value, I’d be rich already. I can remember all the way back to 2012, when Shabibi attended the conference in London, that the articles and others thought Iraq was ready to initiate a change in the rate, why else would Shabibi go to London? Well, here we are, three years later and all Iraq’s done is back up, there’s been very little forward movement. What Iraq is lacking, in my opinion, is the political will to enact the great ideas that the world and many noted economists have suggested. I’m not down on the dinar, nor am I negative, I’m pragmatic about the progress of Iraq. Read more…

10-18-2015 Newshound Guru Enorrste Article: “Monetary policies in Iraq and proposals for the next phase applications” We are all, or at least most of us, frustrated that the CBI has seemed to be unable to move “around the corner” leading to a rise in the value of the dinar…this article for once outlines in detail…the fact that the CBI definitely has a plan and that the plan includes, first, stabilizing the dinar rate, then second, raising the rate, and, third, eventually removing the large notes from circulation ( a clear goal of at least $1 for the dinar). Therefore, if nothing else, this article is a confirmation that the overall plan remains in place in spite of the obvious drawbacks. Read more…

10-17-2015 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: ” The new investment law…to provide Iraq on a plate for the investor” I’m all for anything that gets the wheels of investment turning in Iraq. That is the only way the dinar goes up in value. This is huge news… Iraq has finally stepped up to the plate. The title “Iraq on a plate for the investor” is a true statement if they pass this law. With the law back to parliament, it hopefully will get passed Monday as they say. The good news is that when Abadi pulled these laws last week to make amendments, he is doing so it appears to really create momentum. Now we need some banking deposit insurance. Read more…

10-15-2015 Intel/Newshound Guru tman23 “…23rd session of the first legislative term…to postpone the vote on the draft second amendment bill to the Investment Law…until after the Eid al-Adha holiday…” This Investment Law is not just needed but required for foreign investment to begin deposits in Iraq…It was a condition of the European Union… Iraq desperate for investment…WHY THE DELAY? Parliament does not understand the Federal Government delaying 50 bills that have been read 2 times…The Investment Law was read 2 times… Why not pass it and post it as law but do not implement it same as they have on tariffs… IMO The delay is 3 zeros! THEY HAVE FOUND WAYS THROUGH THE REFORMS TO MOVE TO A MARKET ECONOMY WITH THE WORK PACKAGE WHICH SUPPORTS THE PRIVATE SECTOR AND PARTNERING WITH THE PUBLIC SECTOR — WHOOPOW! 10-11-2015 Newshound Guru wmawhite IMO, not one individual item/event will give us what we are waiting on…instead, there are a series of laws, financial initiatives that are setting up the foundation that will bring the new IQD to the world stage. Here is another little tidbit…look at the list of notes and coins for the IQD on the CBI website. As you look at those notes and coins you can see into the past and into the future. Those large notes tell the story since 2003 up through today. Those smaller notes and coins are an indication of what the plans are for the IQD in the future. The only way those smaller notes and coins will be useful in the market place is when the cost of goods are low enough for the consumer and merchant is use…and the only way those goods will be reduced in price is when the IQD is significantly more valuable outside the country. 10-6-2015 Intel Guru Frank26 I feel very, very confident about the advancement of the monetary reform… it’s amazing how fast things are occurring at the same time. Many changes happening right now…The middle-east is freeing itself of terrorism and corruption. We have a date that we believe that we will see 3 more things – it is the date when Dr. Shabibi will be back at the helm of the CBI calling the shots. The IMF gave Dr. Shabibi the GREEN LIGHT (back in April) and in that time period Dr. Shabibi wanted to do this back in July but there was not enough SECURITY to do it. On September 16th the Finance Committee (of the GOI) came out and said they had passed laws and said that the new 50’s and 100’s would be coming out. They were ready then but the timing wasn’t right. 10-2-2015 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Parliament will vote on the Islamic Banking Act” Parliament voted in agreement on the Islamic Banking Act on Thursday…this has to be their version of “fast track”…this moved through Parliament really fast…IMO…there is something else behind this act…why would they want or feel the need and urgency to pass this act…it has to play well with their economic recovery efforts, with Abadi’s reform efforts, and with the MR…all IMO….in that direction this must then be a very positive action on their part.
