11-28-2015 Intel Guru SteveI [do we need to exchange our 25,000 we have not for the 50,000 or just in country?] Absolutely NOT! This is an in country only. I talked to may sources and I want to put this to rest now. The 50K has been in the works for awhile and was to draw the lower three zeros in due to the counterfeiting. This was forces by the CBI and all of the citizens have been aware of this process. This was a plan not just a matter of fact. All is good.

11-28-2015 Newshound Guru firefly They are/were amending existing laws that are already in the Law Library but were never activated due to the corruption of the previous regime. Last public update was Aug 13th…3 months ago…well, nearly 4 months now and those were amendments also. IMO we may never hear or made aware of any activations. The laws are already in there!

11-28-2015 Intel/Newshound Guru tman23 No idea what rate…only that they are talking about lifting the 3 zeros and hope we have the opportunity to catch the window of exchange before 3 zeros are lifted from the exchange on the nominal value of the notes themselves. The 50k notes are a real concern…And as I said IMO…they are not good for us…no matter who tries to spin it, it doesn’t spin! But glad to see they held off on the release of the notes…which is good for us IMO.

I read it has an expectation the IMF has that Iraq will be re-entering the global markets sometime within the first half of 2016. In order to do so what does Iraq need to have? Answer: a currency it calls its own with a value that reflect the true wealth of Iraq. I don’t think they are waiting on anything…it is evident that the CBI/GOI/IMF plus a few we don’t know about have been working together to bring…as the IMF said, bring Iraq back into the economic markets by sometime during the first half of 2016. Iraq want the world to know…they want all folks to see them as a great place to invests. They want the IQD to be used worldwide…because that runs the value of the IQD up.

11-27-2015 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat I still feel we are very close to the ultimate RV but now the process is stalled again. We know from at least three articles that came from the CBI and the Ministry of Finance that in fact they did launch the 50k notes already. I have friends in Iraq too that have them. They even released pictures of them to me. So since we have FACTUAL evidence they already launched the 50k notes then how in hell can they now be just “postponing” the launching till early next year? Does not make any sense.

11-27-2015 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat So are they now telling us they are recalling these 50k notes. It appears they are very confused about what to do about these notes. Instead of sticking to a plan they cave into political pressures and spoil their plan. We just have to watch and see how this all plays out. But one thing we do know for sure is their plan and how they began to execute it. It also appears there is some timeline lurking on the 2016 horizon that Iraq knows it must face if they do not get this currency issue straight and fix it before. …tic, toc, tic, toc…

Fact check, There is one dinar dealer that I saw online that is offering the new 50K notes for sale here in the US. I have not purchased any of them so I don’t know if there is a hold or it takes some time to get them, but they are pictured on the site.
