4-17-2012- Frank26/Delta   Over the weekend a big article stating the GOI taking over the CBI.  It’s false.  On TV they speak of the need to share information and tell the CBI what they are doing. It’s about coordination.  Not a big deal on TV. Media (newspapers) are making it a big deal. The GOI asked the CBI to just hold up a little bit for some reason.  CBI doesn’t have to listen. These are two different things. The GOI asked not to lift 3 zeros just yet. Nothing to do with the RV; it’s not being cancelled.

4-15-2012- Med I AM STILL NOT SATISFIED THE SITUATION IS RESOLVED…I SEE THE ARTICLES THAT I AM EXPECTING ARE IN THE FORUMS AND MEDIA BUT…IT IS LIKE THIS…YES PARLIAMENT HAS COME OUT AND STATED WHAT THE CONSTITUTION SAYS ON CBI’S  INDEPENDENCEAND…THAT CBI IS THE ONE WHO HAS THE AUTHORITY TO REVALUE THE DINAR AND…IT IS THEIR DECISION.  BUT THEN WE HAVE WHAT THE STATE OF LAW DOES BEST – START RUMORS, LIKE SHABIBI IS ESCAPING IRAQ.  THEY HINT THAT HE MAY BE GUILTY OF CORRUPTION AND THAT HE PURPOSELY HAS CAUSED THE DEVALUE OF THE DINAR.   THOSE STATEMENTS AS UNTRUE AS THEY ARE STILL CREATE PROBLEMS AND MISTRUST FOR THE CENTAL BANK.  IT IS DANGEROUS TALK BUT THAT IS THE RULE OF LAW.  THEY ARE EXTREMELY SELFISH AND SELF CENTERED.

4-15-2012-  Cap1 MALIKI IS NOT AN ISSUE AND THERE HAS BEEN A POWER SHIFT.  LAST I HEARD, SMART CARDS WERE DELIVERED AND LOWER DENOMS WERE ON THE STREETS OF KURDISTAN AND REGIONAL OFFICES HAVE THE RATES IS MY UNDERSTANDING.  NO ONE KNOWS THE DATE BUT WE GET INTEL ABOUT THE RATE. 4-14-2012- Enorrste:   Shabibi does not have to report to the Council of Ministers, nor will he have explaining to do if he should elect to visit them. He already has the full backing of Parliament, to whom he does have to report. The supposed “halt” of the “remove the three zeros” by the Cabinet is vaccuous. They have no authority in the matter per the Constitution.  Parliament has also stated that they have no authority, and Saleh stated last week that no law needs to be passed or regulations from the Cabinet. 4-12-2012- Adam Montana    [Post 2 of 10] we know that Maliki is reportedly signing up for his third term as PM, NOT stepping down at all like some of the articles were hinting. We also have rumors of Shabibi being replaced…there are some great articles out right now discussing Arbil and the Kurds possibly detaching themselves from Iraq.  I do NOT think that Shabibi will be replaced, I seriously doubt that the Kurds will disband themselves from Iraq (as long as they see some changes soon), and we’ve all watched Iraq come a long way…they’ve come too far to not continue going forward.   [“continued in post 3…stay tuned”]

4-10-2012- Bondlady    We want to see these things happen: HCL, article 140 implimented in full, (be nice if the set a total goi but it doesnt all entirely depend on that) inflation and monetary change. These 3 things including ch 7 is huge things for us. Ch 7 so we can go international or be traded international. Give me a 7 the rest will work out imo…So banks will deal with it, ch 7 will let that happen. The hcl will get passed so as to attract huge big business. Art. 140 will settle a lot with kuwait an turkey an any other land saddam took by force that also is part of ch 7. Taxes is another, hard to tax a already sky high inflation unemployent etc, raise living standards.

4-9-2012- Doc   [Post 1 of 4]    we reported we thought Maliki was playing a dangerous game of politics.  Many news releases are indicating a vote of no confidence is in the works.  This seems to be supported by all blocs including the Kurds.  One article went as far to say if Maliki did get his act together the “… Americans may step in.”  What we see here is Iraq in general, very tired of Maliki’s delays and broken promises.  This applies to other Arab countries like Saudi Arabia.  A release quoted a Saudi official as saying he was nothing more than a puppet of Iran.  We would not be shocked to see him voted out is quick order.  [“continued in post 2…stay tuned”]

4-9-2012- Poppy3    i had the call last week on thursday saying that this source believe dr shabibi would do the rv today this evening.  Then on saturday there where two post that totally agreed with my source and amazingly they even had the same reasons for their predictions. I personally don’t think we are near the rv today but i also know that the possiblity is there for it to happen. Dr. Shabibi has to curb inflation and there are many countries demanding it be done.

4-9-2012- BGG   we need to quit worrying over the money and pray for a quick, peaceful resolution while they remove Maliki.  They are moving right forward with this and I doubt he will remain as the PM – I have heard otherwise, but I have a hard time believing it in light of how quickly they are moving against him…and the whole Middle East and world needs him out of office. He is much more dangerous than we imagine right now…there is a seriously deep and wide alliance brewing against this threat of Dictatorship. It is on Maliki’s inability to give up complete control of the GOI. He agreed and set dates and has consistently backed away from his own deals (obviously – his MO).  This RV should have happened numerous times already.

4-8-2012- Hammerman    got phone call that they had indeed put a vote of no confidence against Maliki with conditions…if he plays nice and RVs before Weds then he will have lifetime safety for him and his Buds…they will exile in Germany or England if he doesnt behave, the sanctions will be swift and severe…he will be aggressively pursued…they also covered up the completion of the NC…the Maliki no confidence and the pardon…was all a part of it…this was all accomplished in the NC.  S & M will do the final phase of live rates within the next couple of days…this is the real deal… look for monday night into Tuesday.

4-5-2012- Med   I SEE ALSO THAT THE US HAS ACTUALLY COME OUT AND SAID THAT KUWAIT  NEEDS TO BACK DOWN  AND WORK ON GETTING IRAQ OUT OF CHAPTER VII.   NOW CHAPTER VII  ONLY ENTAILS THREE THINGS – THE DEMARCIATION OF THE BORDERS,  THE ACCOUNTING OF MISSING AND TO PAY THE REST OF THE COMPENSATION…NOTHING ELSE NO ECONOMIC POLICIES,  NOTHING ELSE.

4-4-2012- Frank26    we are at the point the CBI needs to create by-laws that will regulate the distribution of the rate and lower-denominations and the new currency and coins. This is extraordinary. This is BIG news! Iraqiya TV is saying that the GOI knows what is going on…they are educating and preparing the citizens. Budget is in the Gazette. Team is under the impression they are awaiting these by-laws to reveal the budget to us. This week also, possibility to see the Article 140 and Erbil agreement.  Let’s watch the 15th.

4-3-2012- Doc   Unfortunately our skepticism has proven warranted.  We just learned the National Meeting has been postponed with no date given.  The reason given was in fighting.  This coupled with the scheduled month long break for Parliament beginning mid April leads us to conclude that a short term resolution to the RV is improbable.  We can only hope cooler heads will prevail and resolutions will proceed forthcoming.  If not we continue to speculate June to September as the next probable timing.  We report, you decide.

4-1-2012-  BGG  We have laid out a pretty logical view of where we are at and it’s basically down to a waiting game…Maliki agrees to powersharing – RV follows shortly (as in – could be soon). If he pulls more monkey business at the end we could be waiting a bit longer.  I think we’re just waiting to see how things shake out between now and the 5th.  I’m very positive about our immediate future.

3-31-2012- Enorrste   The Preparatory Committee…failed to get the Conference off the ground. I understand that it will now be held on the 4th or 5th of April…the primary goals of the conference are to resolve the issue of the two ministers who have been called to be arrested by Maliki, and a final resolution of the Erbil Agreement. The resolution of the Erbil Agreement is what is necessary for the final formation of a true shared government in Iraq…this agreement has never gained momentum…we did hear that Maliki finally accepted an Iraqiya nominee for the post of ministry of defense. This shows at least SOME movement toward the final formation of a government.
