Mahmoud Mohammad , a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party , headed by Massoud Barzani , president of the region, announced that it was decided at the meeting held on Sunday, between the political offices of the Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union, to hold the referendum on the independence of the Kurdistan region during this year.
He said Mohammed network Roudao media: ” The purpose of this will begin dialogue with Baghdad and neighboring countries,” he said , “will visit a joint delegation from the Democratic Union on Monday , the other parties.”
He continued a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, that ” a joint delegation will travel to Baghdad with the same purpose during this week.”
