The region’s grant includes a 12.67 percent share of the budget in exchange for handing over 250 thousand barrels per day of oil produced in its fields to Baghdad, but many Iraqi representatives have confirmed that they will not allow By passing the budget, unless the region pays the entire financial dues owed by it to Baghdad.
And in the middle of last month, the Kurdistan region of Iraq announced the approval of the provisions of the “borrowing” law voted by the Iraqi parliament, which includes the delivery of the region’s oil by 250 thousand barrels of oil per day, and non-oil revenues to the federal government.
