Thursday, 26/7/2012 BAGHDAD – (KUNA) – The Iraqi government announced yesterday agreed to what they described as amicable settlement signed between the Iraqi Transport Minister and Minister of Communications of Kuwait, regarding the payment of compensation Kuwait Airways Corporation during the year and the next. said government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said in a press statement that Iraq’s cabinet agreed yesterday on a «friendly settlement agreement signed between the Iraqi Transport Minister, and Minister of Communications of Kuwait to resolve the problem of Iraqi Airways». He added that the Council of Ministers recommended that the House of Representatives to allocate the amount of compensation in two phases, the first within the budget in 2012 , and the second within the budget in 2013.
