An uncontrolled space station headed for Iraq{{Al-Furat News} Maps have revealed sites where a Chinese space station is expected to fall out of control as a fireball penetrating the atmosphere, including Iraq.
According to ESA, the 8-ton spacecraft will enter the atmosphere sometime between 30 March and 2 April.
The probabilities that the Chinese laboratory – the remains of which have reached the ground – will fall in an uninhabited circle or in the ocean.
According to ESA, the remaining parts will be spread over a thousand-kilometer curved elliptical shape with a width of tens of kilometers.
If the Chinese laboratory enters any area, its residents will be lucky to see a fireball. A day before the return, it will be possible to predict the route and determine which places on the ground will witness the disintegration of the spacecraft.
The European Space Agency (ESA) said on Oct. 23 that the Chinese space station {Tiangong 1} had been out of control and was now on its way to earth, the space daily Daily Mail reported.
According to the experts who follow the station, its course of landing can not be predicted precisely, as it can circumvent to hit densely populated cities.
The Chinese ship weighs 8 tons and a half tons, and experts believe that most of its parts will burn before reaching the ground, but may reach large fragments weighing up to 100 kilometers.
