Information/Erbil…
An informed source revealed on Thursday that the Harir base near Erbil was closed in the early hours of the morning and placed on high alert following the landing of three Chinook helicopters believed to be carrying a high-level team from the US Pentagon.
The source told Al-Maalomah that “the Harir base, where US forces are stationed near Erbil, has been on high alert since the early hours of the morning, with its main gates closed, coinciding with the landing of three Chinook helicopters believed to be carrying a high-level team from the US Pentagon.” The source
added that “the base has been witnessing significant and unusual activity for several days,” suggesting that “these movements are likely related to current events in the Middle East region.”
The source indicated that “the US presence inside the Harir base remains substantial, especially as it has become an important logistical support point, particularly for US bases deployed within Syrian territory.”
