Al-Zamili - The Minister of Finance is behind the increase in the exchange rate external borrowing and raising the volume of internal debtShafaq News/ On Wednesday, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hakim Al-Zamili accused Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi of being behind the increase in the exchange rate, external borrowing and raising the volume of internal debt, while noting that the state did not benefit from the increase in the exchange rate.

This came during a press conference held by the Sadrist bloc, headed by the head of the Sadrist bloc, Hassan al-Adhari, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hakim al-Zamili, and the deputy head of the Sadrist bloc, Hassan al-Kaabi, in Najaf Governorate, which was attended by Shafaq News Agency.

Al-Zamili said, in the press conference, that “more than 100 deputies signed a request to host the Minister of Finance in Parliament, and it was decided next Monday,” stressing that “the rise in the dollar exchange rate did not benefit the state, and the reform project will be proceeded.”

In turn, the deputy head of the bloc, Hassan Al-Kaabi, pledged to “continue the investigation into the electricity file,” noting that this file “has been spent on large sums without any improvement in the national system.”

Regarding the oil file, Al-Kaabi stressed that this file “is among the priorities of the Sadrist bloc, especially since the suspicions in the licensing contracts are clear.”

For his part, the head of the Sadrist bloc, Hassan al-Adari, announced the formation of a working room from the members of the Sadrist bloc on the files of electricity, oil, agriculture, trade, communications, justice and water resources,” stressing at the same time, the need to open these files to public opinion and the Iraqi people.
