The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Nu’man, announced on Sunday that Commander-in-Chief Ali al-Zaidi had issued an order to form an investigative committee to look into the circumstances of the transgression that accompanied one of the parades during the “Sovereignty Day” events, against the flag of the United States of America.
In a statement, Al-Nu’man said: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces condemned this act, stressing the need to adhere to diplomatic laws and norms, and directed that the necessary legal measures be taken against the violators, and that the investigation be completed and its results submitted as soon as possible.
