On Tuesday, Rafidain Bank announced the completion of the first batch of electronic loans for employees and retirees, after completing the procedures for their applications.
The bank indicated in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency that applications will be reopened at 8:00 AM on Wednesday to receive applications for the second batch.
The bank emphasized its commitment to expediting customer transactions, simplifying procedures, and providing electronic banking services that meet their needs and save them time and effort.
An informed source revealed to Shafaq News Agency last Friday that Rafidain Bank has launched loans for employees and retirees in amounts of 5 million and 10 million dinars, with an annual interest rate of 6%, to be repaid over five years.
On the same day, the Iraqi Ministry of Finance announced that Rafidain Bank had completed the technical procedures and electronic linking for the loan service via the “Super Key” application.
Last Monday, Iraqi Finance Minister Faleh Sari also agreed to include contracts in state institutions in bank loans.
