MP Mohammed Al-Mayahi confirmed on Monday that Parliament has not yet discussed any official candidate for the position of Prime Minister, noting that consultations are still ongoing within the political blocs.
Al-Mayahi told Al-Maalouma News Agency that “Parliament has not officially announced any name yet,” indicating that “the matter is still under discussion and deliberation among the political forces to reach a final agreement.”
He added that “the next phase will witness intensified meetings to resolve this issue in accordance with constitutional requirements,” stressing that “Parliament seeks to choose a figure capable of managing the next phase efficiently.”
