Member of the State of Law coalition, Wael Al-Rikabi, considered, on Tuesday, the stifling economic crisis that the Iraqi people are going through as “orchestrated”; To keep Mustafa Al-Kazemi in the government.
Al-Rikabi told “The Information”, “The governmental oversight committees of the Ministry of Commerce are responsible for the significant rise in commercial goods, especially food, which the people need.”
A member of the State of Law coalition explained that “the caretaker government is the one who seeks to aggravate the situation and seeks to stir up the Iraqi street in light of these political crises in which the parties did not reach a political consensus to form the government, and thus stay on Mustafa Al-Kazemi in the prime ministership.”
He continued, “The government was not serious and honest in the process of following up on the trade committees that hold accountable all those who manipulate the people’s power,” noting that “the rise in the dollar exchange rate and its survival represents one of the factors that the current government deals with in a politicized and non-economic manner.”
