Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, on Wednesday, stressed taking all legal measures to prevent financial abuse.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement that the agency received a copy of it, that “Al-Kazemi inspected the border crossing of Safwan with Kuwait, in the context of his follow-up to the border outlets, improving their reality and fighting all aspects of corruption in them.”
Al-Kazemi briefed on “the mechanisms of work in the port and the obstacles that stand in the way of its development,” stressing “taking all legal measures to prevent financial abuses and fighting corruption at all border crossings, including the Safwan border crossing.”
He pointed out, “He previously directed the border crossing administration to address the reality of the ports, upgrade their work, and also automate the administrative aspects of them, which contribute to reducing red tape, controlling corruption, and preventing abuse of public funds.”
