MP Iyad al-Jubouri, from the Azm Alliance, confirmed today, Thursday, that the Parliament is moving towards completing the cabinet and monitoring the implementation of the government program at the start of the next legislative session.
Al-Jubouri told the Information Agency, “The upcoming legislative session will witness parliamentary action to finalize the cabinet and fill the remaining vacant positions within the government.”
He added, “There is a trend within Parliament to obligate the government to implement the program it pledged to Parliament and to work towards achieving the goals outlined therein.”
He pointed out that “issues related to combating corruption and improving the economic, security, and service sectors will be among the top priorities of the next phase.”
He affirmed that “Parliament will continue its oversight role to monitor the implementation of government commitments and ensure the achievement of results that meet the aspirations of citizens and support the stability of the country.”
