Al-Husseini: The options are ready to decide on the position of Prime Minister

Abeer al-Husseini, a leading figure in the State Forces Alliance, confirmed on Sunday that there are ongoing communications between the Coordination Framework and Kurdish forces to expedite the election of a president.
In a statement received by the Information Agency, al-Husseini said, “The Coordination Framework is working to bridge the differences between the two main parties in the Kurdistan Region in order to resolve the issue of the presidency.”
She added, “If the Kurds secure the presidency, the ball will then be in the Coordination Framework’s court, which must decide on the selection of a prime minister to complete the formation of the government.”
Al-Husseini indicated that “the Coordination Framework is working quietly and deliberately, away from the media spotlight, to resolve the issue of the prime ministership, and it has several options, all of which aim to resolve the matter within the constitutional timeframe.”
