Mohammed Al-Fahdawi, a member of the Al-Azm Alliance, confirmed that attempts to obstruct the passage of candidates will not hinder the completion of the ministerial cabinet of Al-Zidi’s government, noting that every party will ultimately get its due despite the obstruction attempts.
Al-Fahdawi told Al-Maalouma that “the delay in finalizing the cabinet and the failure to pass all the candidates presented by Prime Minister Ali Al-Zidi to Parliament is not due to technical observations, but rather to political disagreements and a lack of consensus.”
He added that “political differences are present in the formation of the cabinet, and this matter is not related to a specific component or party, but rather the Shiite bloc, as well as the Sunni and Kurdish blocs, have such differences, the final result of which was to obstruct the passage of some of Al-Zaidi’s cabinet candidates.”
He explained that “obstructing the approval of some candidates negatively impacts the new government. Despite the disagreements and attempts by some parties to delay the formation of the cabinet, the final outcome is clear: each party will receive its due share, despite attempts to hinder the completion of the cabinet.”
