Political analyst Kamel Al-Bayati said that the attempts of the political parties seeking to form a so-called “majority government” will not succeed, pointing out that the attempt to attract some personalities without others has lost the identity of the “majority government” and will not achieve 220 deputies to pass the presidential candidate .
Al-Bayati told Al-Maalouma, “The calls launched by some political parties to attract a number of independent representatives will not work and will not achieve 220 deputies for the Triple Alliance in order to pass its candidate for the presidency.”
He added that “the majority government has lost its identity because of opening the door to parties without others, and trying to attract independent representatives without others, and therefore the principle of the majority will not be present for the tripartite alliance, especially since the political custom stresses that the majority means gathering the largest number of representatives of the same component, While what is happening today is an attempt to form two poles, one of which gets the most number of seats to pass whoever he wants in the new government.”
And he indicated that “the political process will not witness a breakthrough soon at a time when some parties are trying to aggravate matters by closing the door to parties and opening it to others, and even if it manages to form a government, it will be weak and may not last long.” finished 25
