After The Tripartite Alliance Failed To Hold It.. Deputy: Wednesdays Session Will Not Take PlaceInformation / special

On Monday, the deputy of the State of Law coalition, Jassem al-Moussawi, enslaved the upcoming parliament session to choose the president of the republic without a prior agreement with the coordinating framework, while he confirmed that Saturday’s session showed the size of the other blocs.

Al-Moussawi told the “Information” agency, “The parliament session to pass the presidency of the republic, which was held last Saturday and was postponed to next Wednesday, showed the size of the other political blocs, their weakness, and their inability to complete the quorum of the session and pass their candidate.”

He added, “The tripartite alliance will re-discuss its affairs and papers and will be forced to return to opening the door to negotiations again with the coordinating framework, after making sure of its inability to pass the presidency.”

The representative of al-Maliki’s coalition explained that “the coordination framework submitted signatures to more than 126 real deputies, who confirmed that the presidential session will not be held without the presence of the framework and the prior agreement with it.”

The Presidency of the House of Representatives had decided, earlier, to postpone the session to choose the President of the Republic until next Wednesday, after failing to achieve a full quorum for the session. Done/25 SR
