A member of the State of Law coalition, Fadel Mawat Kassar, confirmed, on Wednesday, that the Sadrist movement’s exit from the political process will contribute to accelerating the formation of the government, indicating that a breakthrough will be soon.
Kassar said in an interview with the “Information” agency, “The Sadrist movement withdrew from the political scene and according to the election law, substitutes will be resorted to in the electoral districts, and the deputies of the coordination framework will increase to more than 60 deputies, as well as the independents, who are the closest to it.”
He continued, “The political process is in constant progress, and we will witness a breakthrough soon between all political parties, and the form of the government will be in a manner of political consensus, even if the Sadrist movement returns.”
He pointed out that “the Kurdistan Democratic Party is intensifying its dialogues with the Patriotic Union for the purpose of agreeing to choose a candidate for the presidency after realizing that the trio would not be able to form a government.”
The political analyst Hazem Al-Bawi had seen that “the Democratic Party and the Alliance of Sovereignty have turned to the method of courtship with the coordinating framework after the developments in the political community.” End / 25 f
