Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed that Iraq resumed exporting crude oil to the United States last week, at a rate of 71,000 barrels per day, after U.S. imports of Iraqi crude had reached zero the previous week, while Saudi Arabia recorded zero barrels per day.
According to data seen by Shafaq News Agency, Canada topped the list of crude oil suppliers to the United States with 3.551 million barrels per day, followed by Venezuela with 578,000 barrels per day, then Mexico with 346,000 barrels per day, Colombia with 218,000 barrels per day, and Ecuador with 174,000 barrels per day.
Imports from Libya amounted to 116,000 barrels per day, from Iraq 71,000 barrels per day, and from Brazil 71,000 barrels per day, while the United States imported 3,000 barrels per day from Nigeria, while it did not import any quantities from Saudi Arabia.
