Masoud Haider, an advisor to the leader of the Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, confirmed, on Thursday, that the federal government agreed with the agreement with the Kurdistan region regarding the 2021 budget, while noting that the Finance Committee made fundamental adjustments to the budget.
Haider said to “Tigris”, “The Kurdistan region is not an obstacle to passing the budget, but there is a political issue that has delayed approval,” indicating that “there is talk about linking the Federal Court law to the budget law.”
“Passing the budget in a political form is a coup against the constitution,” he said, adding, “There are violations of the constitution and some do not respect it.”
In another context, Haidar pointed out that “there is no Kurdish resistance against the Americans in the region, as some have stated, and this is a false and false claim, and the groups that bombed are affiliated with the pro-state groups.”
