Follow-up – and babysit – Oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, on Thursday, that the absence of a law on oil and gas is the reason to raise the current crises faced by Iraq.
Abdul-Mahdi said in a statement that “the need to have a law on the production and export of oil,” he said, adding “the importance of the oil pipeline between Kirkuk and Turkey.”
He pointed out that Abdul-Mahdi, “the Iraqi government does not deal with the purchaser of the oil of the Kurdistan region,” adding that “the enemies of the agreement signed between Baghdad and Erbil on the rise.”
