Wafa Muhammad Karim, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, clarified the truth about the formation of an alliance between the Democratic Party, the State of Law Coalition, and the Azm Coalition, pointing out that such an idea exists, especially after the obstruction of the passage of some of the candidates of these blocs.
Karim told Al-Maalomah, “The Democratic Party has obtained the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs and is on its way to obtaining another ministry in Al-Zaidi’s government. In addition, the State of Law Coalition has its candidates who will be voted on after the Eid holiday, and therefore it will not go to the opposition while participating in the government.”
He added that “there is an idea to create a strong political alliance between the Democratic Party, the State of Law Coalition, and the Determination Movement in order to unify forces after the injustice done to the aforementioned blocs in the cabinet.”
He explained that “the idea behind this alliance is to strengthen their position and ensure that this injustice against them is not repeated, especially after the clear obstruction of the passage of some candidates from the Democratic Party, the State of Law Coalition, and the Azm Movement when the cabinet was presented to Parliament.”
