A political movement is expected after the Eid holiday to replace rejected candidates and make changes to the blocs entitlementsThe Victory Coalition revealed on Sunday that there is intensive political activity to present new candidates as replacements for the names that failed to gain the confidence of the House of Representatives, and that the matter will be resolved after the Eid al-Adha holiday, while it indicated that changes have occurred in the parliamentary entitlements following recent bloc withdrawals. Coalition spokesman Aqeel al-Rudaini told Al-Maalomah News Agency that “the political forces whose candidates did not receive parliamentary confidence have officially begun selecting replacements,” indicating that “the new names will be ready to be presented after the Eid al-Adha holiday.”
Al-Rudaini added that “there has been a tangible change in the parliamentary allocations for the political blocs as a result of the recent withdrawals, particularly those related to the Reconstruction and Development bloc.”
He explained that “the Federal Court’s decision is decisive in both cases regarding the questioning of the voting process. Therefore, the candidates who did not receive parliamentary confidence will not be re-nominated and will be definitively replaced by new faces.”
