A parliamentary warning … Al-Kazemi wants to pay off 40 billion dollars of the region’s debts through the budget

The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed, on Tuesday, that Al-Kazemi seeks to include in the 2021 budget the debts of the Kurdistan region to foreign companies and the loans that he took illegally, amounting to 40 billion dollars at the expense of other portfolios .
A member of the Finance Committee, Abdul-Hadi Mohan, said, “Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi seeks to include the 2021 budget, the mined paragraphs that destroy Iraq and deprive the central and southern governorates in exchange for concessions for the region .”
He added, “Among those paragraphs is the government bearing the debt of the Kurdistan region to foreign companies and the loans that it borrowed illegally without the knowledge of the central government, repaying it on it and including it in the 2021 budget .”
Mohan explained that “including it in the budget and bearing it by the center means depriving the center and the south of their rights so that the money can go to pay off the region’s debts,” noting that “it is impossible and dream that such paragraphs pass in the 2021 budget.”
