Former MP Abdul Hadi Mohan denied the existence of deep disagreements between political blocs or parties within the Coordination Framework that would hinder the completion of Ali al-Zaidi’s cabinet. He pointed out that the Coordination Framework continues its work and meetings and has not disintegrated.
Mohan told Al-Maalouma, “The disagreements regarding the selection of candidates for the nine remaining ministerial portfolios in al-Zaidi’s cabinet are minor and superficial, and can be overcome to proceed with completing the new government.”
He added, “Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi has the vision, experience, and ability to finalize his cabinet through coordination and agreement with the political blocs to ensure the completion of the vote on the remaining ministerial positions.” He clarified
that “the Coordination Framework remains and continues its work and will not disintegrate. There are ongoing efforts to finalize all the remaining ministries in al-Zaidi’s cabinet, despite the delay in voting on the candidates for the ministerial portfolios.”
