A deputy affirms - A major parliamentary refusal to pass the 2021 budgetToday, Sunday, Ali Al-Badiri, a deputy for the Wisdom Movement, confirmed that there is a great parliamentary refusal to pass the 2021 budget bill without some amendments to it.

Al-Badiri told “Eye of Iraq News”, “There are deputies from different political blocs who have many observations about many paragraphs in the 2021 budget bill, and that is why there is a great refusal to pass the law without amending it and canceling paragraphs that harm the economy of Iraq.”

And he stated that “putting forward the budget bill in 2021 in its current form to the vote, it will not pass, and there are deputies and blocs that will boycott the session, and that is why it will not be included for the vote except after making amendments and there is an agreement and political consensus on the pass with the deduction of the share of the Kurdistan region.”
