Iraq’s exports of goods in the third quarter of 2025 amounted to more than $23 billion, according to Trading Economics.
The website said in a statistic seen by Shafaq News Agency that Iraq’s exports in the third quarter of last year amounted to $32.414 billion, up from $23.285 billion in the second quarter of the same year.
She added that Iraq’s average exports between 1988 and 2025 amounted to $21.766 billion, recording its highest level ever at $49.209 billion in the last quarter of 2012, and its lowest level at $1.720 billion in the last quarter of 1994.
According to the website, Iraq is the world’s seventh-largest producer and exporter of oil, with crude oil shipments representing more than 95% of its exports. Its main trading partners include the United States (25% of total exports), India (14%), China (12%), and South Korea (9%). Other trading partners include Italy, Japan, France, and Turkey.
