US forces remove surveillance balloons from Ain al-Asad base

A security source in Anbar province revealed on Wednesday that US forces had suddenly removed surveillance balloons surrounding the Ain al-Assad base in western Anbar.
The source told Al-Maalomah News Agency that “American forces suddenly removed all surveillance balloons surrounding the Ain al-Assad base building in the Al-Baghdadi district of Hit, west of Anbar, coinciding with the evacuation of their forces towards the Harir base in Erbil Governorate, northern Iraq.”
The source added that “the security surveillance balloons at Ain al-Asad Air Base have been in place for a long time, and their number was increased during the American aggression against Iran,” indicating that “American forces concealed their heavy equipment behind concrete barriers equipped with surveillance devices without evacuating and transferring it to Harir Air Base.”
