The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) presented two candidates on Monday for the position of President of the Republic of Iraq.
Information obtained by Al-Maalomah Agency indicates that “Fuad Hussein and Nawzad Hadi are the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s candidates for the position of President of the Republic.”
The elected president will task the nominee of the largest bloc in parliament with forming the government within 15 days of the presidential election.
