Dollar and gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil during the New Year holiday

On Thursday, wholesale markets stopped selling dollars in the Al-Harithiya and Al-Kifah areas of Baghdad, as well as in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, and the gold market also stopped, on the occasion of the New Year holiday.
Despite the shutdown, shops continued to trade at the same prices as before the holiday, with the closing price of the dollar in Baghdad recording 144,700 dinars, while the buying and selling prices in Erbil reached 143,550 and 143,450 dinars respectively.
As for gold prices, in Baghdad, 21-karat gold was priced at 875,000 dinars, while in Erbil, 22-karat gold was priced at 916,000 dinars, 21-karat gold at 875,000 dinars, and 18-karat gold at 750,000 dinars.
