High demands regarding stopping suspicious movements of the US ambassador to Iraq

A member of the legal movement, Ahmed Shahid Al-Shammari, warned, on Saturday, of the consequences of the suspicious moves led by Washington’s ambassador to Iraq, Elena Romanowski, aimed at causing strife, describing those moves as blatant interference in Iraqi affairs.
Al-Shammari said in an interview with the information agency, “The American ambassador has gone beyond diplomatic norms and behavior to spread chaos and incite against the political process.”
He added, “The survival of US forces in Iraq and the attempt to circumvent the Iraqis’ demand for the withdrawal of US forces has to do with the moves of the US ambassador that undermine the security of the country.”
He pointed out that “the government must assume its responsibilities to deter suspicious movements, since the continued movements of the American ambassador gave the American administration an opportunity to interfere in Iraq’s affairs.” Al-Shammari called on the “Foreign Minister to summon the American ambassador and protest against her unacceptable behavior.”
Political analyst Qassem Al-Tamimi warned, during his interview with Al-Maalouma, that “the meetings of the American ambassador, Elena Romanowski, with political and security leaders to put pressure on the political process.
