Al-Maamouri said in an interview with Earth News, “We see that if Sayyid Muqtada stops participating or abstains from participating in the Shiite house, we see that there are several things that will drag the country to unimaginable consequences, and one of these matters by not participating with the Shiite house will lead to That the Shiite house or the Shiite share is very weak in political representation within the dome of Parliament and within the government in the future.”
He added, “There is a conspiracy against Shi’ism from abroad that wants Shi’ism as a larger bloc or as a larger representation that is intended to be weakened, and there is a Zionist-American conspiracy, there is a Gulf and Turkish conspiracy intended to weaken Shi’ism in Iraq,” noting that “there is normalization in the region and this normalization in the region is coming, so it must be There is that the axis of resistance and the mobilization will weaken, and the axis of resistance and the mobilization will only weaken this struggle, which is that there will be a weak bloc.”
Al-Maamouri added that “Shiism is reduced to the Sadrist bloc, and that the Sadrist bloc is always placed in opposition to the mobilization and the resistance, and this is a strategic mistake. That is why we say and appeal to our brothers in the Sadrist bloc, we are your brothers in the coordinating framework and the blocs that are with it.”
And Al-Maamouri said, “You must avoid the country from problems and tragedy, for the resistance is very strong, and the crowd is also the strongest, and no party, whether to the right or the north, can strengthen the American-Zionist Gulf project to undermine the crowd and resistance.”
Al-Maamouri stressed that, “We do not allow the formation of a Sadrist government, and we have entitlements in the Shiite component and the house. We also do not allow the reduction or removal of al-Maliki from the political process, as he owns half or more than half of what the Sadrist bloc owns. Therefore, removing Mr. Maliki means isolating the Shiite component, and this is a red line.”
Al-Maamouri explained that “Al-Maliki now has the votes that qualifies him to be a candidate for prime minister in the next stage, so why is he reduced and why is he isolated in this way, and therefore we do not allow Shi’ism to be split in this way or Al-Sadr is placed against Shiite politicians among them in conflict.”
The government formation process is in a state of political impasse due to Parliament’s failure to achieve a quorum to choose the President of the Republic.
